About Us
Our boat is a 7m Chinook RIB (Rigid hulled Inflatable Boat), and is fitted with a 150hp HO Evinrude Etec outboard engine. It is capable of carrying up to 10 divers with speeds up to 35knotts when full of divers and in excess of 40knots when empty. It is fitted with the latest Garmin GPS navigation system, and Lowrance sounder so finding that elusive wreck is not a problem for our experienced boat handler.
Onboard we always carry an anchor and warp, Flares, a First Aid Kit and Oxygen kit incase of an emergency, aswell as having an Icom VHF radio so our many qualified radio operators can contact the Coastguard if help is required.
Aswell as the above equipment we also have onboard a shot weight and lines of various sizes (depending on dive site) and a small tool/spares kit incase of any equipment failure.
For safety reasons due to the size and power of the boat only experienced and qualified boat handlers may drive the boat. This ensures the safety of all divers when onboard and in the water.
