Welcome to Brixham BSAC |

We
are a BSAC club based in the small fishing town of Brixham in Torbay,
Devon. Although small in numbers compared to other clubs, all of our
members are keen and active divers. This means that we visit a great
number of different types of dive site. From inshore reef and
pinnacle diving, to diving the many wrecks which lie off Torbay and the
South West coast. Couple that to our many social meetings and events
and you get a very active and friendly dive club.
We have our own 7m RIB which we keep on a trailer. This allows us to take it all over the Devon and Cornwall coast in search of the best dive sites for our members. We are often found towing our RIB down to Cornwall for a long weekend away or down to Plymouth to take advantage of the many excellent dive sites out of Plymouth Sound. We also have some very experienced and knowledgeable boat handlers in our club. Couple that with the latest is GPS navigation and fish finding equipment on our RIB and we can offer our club members a charter boat quality dive at a fraction of the cost, with the added bonus that we will visit the dive sites the charter boats don't! Our diving is not only done by RIB. We also do many shore dives from the easily (and not so easily) accessible sites in and around Torbay and further a field. Devils point in Plymouth is a favourite with our club members for some deeper diving when the Winter storms prevent us from launching our RIB. If you are a qualified diver from any agency (BSAC, PADI, SAA, etc) and would like to join our club, then why not come along to one our meetings and say hello. We meet every Tuesday night at the Brixham Rugby cub from 9pm. Click on the green balloon on the map below to get directions from your home.
