Brixham SAA was formed in 1982.  Originally an SAA club we converted to BSAC in 1991 and have grown from strength to strength ever since.  From our humble beginnings with an all inflatable "squidgy" boat, we progressed up to a 5.8m Delta RIB and in 2007 we progressed further and now have a 7m Chinook RIB.

We have a firm base of around 20 regular divers with varied qualifications and dive preferences, from Ocean divers who like inshore reef dives to Trimix qualified divers who like the deeper challenges of the many wrecks we have around the Torbay area, many of which are still unidentified today.

With such a variation in diver qualifications we can cater for anyone who wants to come along and join our club.  We can take you for shore dives around Torbay, or further offshore to dive the wrecks or deeper reefs and pinnacles along the South west coastline.

As we are a relatively small club compared to others we do not have the time or resources between us to train new divers.  However if you come to us as an already qualified diver from any training agency we can continue your training with BSAC courses to higher diving grades during our regular diving season.
